Mr. Vicot François - ESL Teacher

I was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. I moved to the United States at the age of 10. I attended New York City public school, where I learned English.  In 2012 I completed my undergrad career at City University of New York, Queens College. I majored in Political  Science and minored in Secondary Education & Youth Services at CUNY Queens College. Before joining the New York City Department of Education, I worked in the New York State Assembly. In 2017 I joined the New York City Teaching Fellows and Explorations Academy Hs as an ENL teacher. In 2019 I earned a master’s degree in TESOL and Secondary education from The City University of New York.
 
In addition to teaching at Explorations Academy HS, I coach Boys Varsity Soccer, Boys Varsity Basketball, and Girls Varsity Flag Football.
